Cahuilla Community
The broader Cahuilla community's traditional homelands lie in what is now southern California, in an inland basin of desert plains and rugged canyons south of the San Bernardino and San Jacinto mountains. There are several bands or groups living within other regional communities including the Agua Caliente, Morongo, Cahuilla or Mountain (Qawishpa Cahuillangnah), Soboba, Santa Rose Augustine, Torres-Martinez Desert, Ramona, Mission Creek, Los Coyotes, and Cabazon.
